Apple iPod gets Camera, FM, Lower Price, OpenGLES 2.0, More Memory, More Colors, Nike Support, Mic, Built in Speakers – What else do you want

I have been eagerly waiting for the 09/09/09 event today. First of all what a date to choose for to throw an event like this. Steve Jobs was there with his Keynote presentation. Some really cool games coming for the iPods and iPhones. Everyone has speculated on the long awaited iTablet. I believe its not finished yet. As Apple believes in complete customer satisfaction I guess they are working on a product which fulfills every needs and gets into every pocket. I mean they might be looking for a cheaper iTablet.
One thing I have noticed in the last 2 years or so. Apple has really changed their strategy. They are now targeting every population. Apple once used to be the Brand of the riches but its in everyone’s reach. Thanks Apple and specially Steve. It would not have been possible without you.
Oh. forgot to mention whats in the stores now. OK here you go.
New iPods will have the following features :
- Camera
- FM Radio
- Nike Support
- Mic
- Voice Recognition
- A steel polished special edition for $99 4GB
- 5 Colors to choose from now
- Shuffle gets support of advanced earphones.
- iPod Classic 120GB gets upgraded to 160Gb and costs not even a single penny more.
- iPod gets into Open GLES 2.0 bandwagon

It really is about time that iPods had an fm radio in them, that feature has been long over due. I think the camera is a bit of a gimmic though, a VGA camera in 2010? I’d rather use the camera on my phone. To be honest, I’d rather use my phone than an iPod simply because it does all that the iPod does and more, it is the best device I own. Just my two cents.
