Turn Windows 7 into Wifi Hot Spot with Free Tools

Sharing your Windows internet connection via software has traditionally been a tricky business. There are programs that can help you do it, but they’re often awkward to set up, and prone to complicated security and reliability issues, so most people don’t even try.

But that could all be about to change, thanks to a new Windows 7 feature called Virtual Wi-Fi. The idea is a simple one: the operating system can virtualise any compatible wireless adapter, to make it appear as though you’ve as many additional adapters as you need.

The effect is dramatic. Once it’s set up, then any Wi-Fi compatible device that can connect to you – another desktop, laptop, or an iPod Touch, say – will immediately be able to get online, by sharing your internet connection through a duplicate of your wireless adapter.

Getting this working isn’t too difficult, either, as long as you can get over the first hurdle: finding a virtual Wi-Fi-compatible driver for your wireless adapter.

Sony Ericsson MW600 Windows 7 Working Drivers

I recently bought Sony Ericsson MW600 Bluetooth earphones. And I was shocked to discover that it didn’t work with my laptop (Thinkpad T410) because neither Microsoft nor Sony Ericsson provide the drivers for Sony Ericsson MW600.

Windows did, however, give me 3 possible action center solutions to choose from. It suggested I needed an updated adapter driver, as well as one for the device. One sent me off to Broadcom, the other to Lenovo. I downloaded the Broadcom driver which looked like it was going to work, but the most I could get out of it was standard hands-free which produced phone quality audio, which sucked.

I uninstall it all and tried the Lenovo driver and voila! Everything working, Media Player track name is displayed on the OLED screen, I can play/pause etc – wonderful. At the time of writing the only thing I have left to test is a simultaneous connection to my phone so I can handle calls while listening to music on my laptop.

Minimalist, Typographic and Simple WordPress Theme – Revolutioners Theme ver 1.0

I have been working on a theme for a long time now. I am pleased to announce my first ever theme. I have named it revolutioners on my own blog. This theme is inspired from an existing tutorial created by Jon Phillips. I have worked up on the design and layout and customized it to my needs. I have always wanted to have a WordPress theme with lots of widgets. Most importantly the widgetized footer. I really feel the widgetized footer gives a theme a professionalism and grace. And this theme is so amazingly simple and minimalist that it just loads in seconds. Just check this post out where I have done a thorough analysis of the revolutioners theme with the use of various website speed test tools. OK enough of talk lets look at the design and what I have in store for you guys. This is how the layout looks like.

7 Tools to check your website / blog speed

Alright, another post for my blogger friends. I am on a limited bandwidth host and not always but most of the time I run out of bandwidth every month. So I decided to slip down my blog loading time and have been working on that very seriously. And that is because of two reasons basically. One, I don’t want my readers to wait for ages to load a particular page. Second, I don’t want to end up paying extra money to my host for extra bandwidth. The motive behind this blog to put across my thoughts, which as per me do not need catchy images. By the way I am very fond of creating images and then adding them to the post. But somehow I now realized that its not good to have a blog/website which takes a lot of time to load. People just close the window if the website takes a fraction of second long. I just don’t want to miss that moment. I want more and more people to come on my blog and keep coming.

I don’t know what it is that makes me get my hands on new and old gadgets. I have been planning to buy a PS3 for long and finally I got it. Thank you Papa. It wouldn’t have been possible without your support :D I bought 250 GB GOW III edition. People say its a great game well that I would have to wait and see. I am still exploring it.

I am new to gaming consoles, this is my first ever console. Alright, second; first was little master 8bit. Not into gaming much. Just bought it out of curiosity. I like to buy things which are immensely popular and are of great quality. Heard so much about PS3 and I just wanted to own one and then play !
