Sharing your Windows internet connection via software has traditionally been a tricky business. There are programs that can help you do it, but they’re often awkward to set up, and prone to complicated security and reliability issues, so most people don’t even try.
But that could all be about to change, thanks to a new Windows 7 feature called Virtual Wi-Fi. The idea is a simple one: the operating system can virtualise any compatible wireless adapter, to make it appear as though you’ve as many additional adapters as you need.
The effect is dramatic. Once it’s set up, then any Wi-Fi compatible device that can connect to you – another desktop, laptop, or an iPod Touch, say – will immediately be able to get online, by sharing your internet connection through a duplicate of your wireless adapter.
Getting this working isn’t too difficult, either, as long as you can get over the first hurdle: finding a virtual Wi-Fi-compatible driver for your wireless adapter.

I recently bought a new PS3 slim and which I am enjoying whenever I can. But I am slightly disappointed. My PS3 came with firmware version 3.41 and I accidentally upgraded the firmware version to 3.42. I was aware of this PS3 jailbreak news but I was so novice and thought that since it has already been jailbroken, hackers will keep updating the hack. That is due to my lack of research around it. I should have known well in advance that it took almost 4 years for hackers to hack the PS3 and this might be the first and last time it happened. I am not sure if any such thing called unhackable exists in this world. But I must say PS3 did for a long time. Anyways, I was fool. Yeah I know. I so wanted to have so many games on my PS3 without taking the disk out and putting them again. So why ? This was my question now since I was really frustrated to know that I can’t downgrade the firmware and can’t jailbreak my PS3 with firmware 3.42. So I went on a hunt for information. I found certain articles about PS3 security system and what not. But there was a great article which explained the procedure properly, I think and here it is.
..the rest of the story
I am not sure whether it will help you with your problem or not but it did solve my problem. I had an 80GB laptop sata hard drive which I was trying to use on a Windows 7 PC but it kept giving me error “Windows can not initialize the hard drive“. Then after searching here and there I realized that the hard drive had password when it was connected to laptop. I removed the password from BIOS and voila. It worked.
So, all I did was remove the HDD password. If you encounter anything like that just try and remove any password from the HDD and it should work.
Do you also feel the same way as I do. I mean do you not feel a bit relaxed after writing that post. I get a sense of accomplishment every time and I am sure you do too. But remember that when you’re done writing a new blog post, you still have some work to do. There are many things you should be doing after writing a new post and I will try and explain a few of the most important things you should do after every blog post you write.

Last night it look me over 3 hours to understand the problem why Norton Ghost was acting weird. I was not able to clone my laptop hard drive with an existing image. The image was correct and consistent however Norton Ghost while restoring kept giving me some inconsistency errors. Image was created with a 160 GB partition and I was restoring it on 320 GB drive. I tried both ways to restore. Image to Drive and Image to Disk. But every time it gave me inconsistency errors.

I recently bought Tata Sky Plus for my home. I don’t have any HD TV so I am using it on my normal 21” color television. Its good so far. Lots of talk with customer care as usual. It’s the part and parcel of buying a service in India. Anyways, I would really not waste your time. I would like to put my opinion forward as a review of Tata Sky Plus from a customer’s perspective.

So here is the situation. you were watching your favorite TV program and as usual in program advertisement breaks come. And you don’t wanna watch those Advertisements as you already have everything from your Wish list. Now as a part of human tendency, you pick up the remote and try to shuffle through the channels. But wait… Its not working. You try to shrug off your remote on your hand but its still the same. You disparately try pressing every single key but all in vain. Then you thought “Oh… its the battery!” But that may not be the case. And there might have been a case when you did not use your Music System’s remote for a long time and it was lying in dust somewhere. Now you took it out and its not working. What to do in this situation. Is there any problem with your remote or there is something wrong with the Music System or TV ? How to determine who is the culprit. This little trick will help you identify the culprit.
What do you need :
- A Mobile phone with Camera (Any Phone will do)
- A remote which is not working (Any IR based remote)
This trick would work for any remote control that works on the principle of infrared.
point your remote control into your camera lens and then push some buttons on the remote. Now look at the camera’s LCD screen (not in the optical viewfinder). If the remote works, you’ll see a flashing light where the remote’s infrared emitter is. If you see no such light, then you can be pretty sure that the problem lies with the remote.
I am demostrating the same with a small video that I shot with my mobile camera and Air Conditioner Remote.
