Indian Cricket at its best

Woke up today and wanted to watch the 5th days play. But was so lazy to get out of bed so started listening to commentary on FM. It was Zaheer Khan, who picked up the first wicket and then there was no stopping. Within 1 hour all 4 Sri Lankan batsmen were out.
In the very same moment Indian Cricket Team reached the first position in ICC Test ranking for the first time in the history of Indian Cricket. International Test Cricket is more than 100 years old.
This is an amazing feeling being an Indian. Congratulations to all you Indians.

Congragulations to the whole of India for being ranked number 1 in the world. It is a fantastic achievement and im sure Gary Kirsten is really proud of the job he has done as coach of the Indian national cricket team. They have really come far under Gary Kirsten’s coaching and clearly he knows what he is doing as you dont just become the best test team in the world. I wonder if Kirsten would leaven the Indian coaching role for the now vacant South African role?
The test series between South Africa and India will be able to tell us many things about the future of South African cricket and its going to be interesting to see if Greame Smith has full control of his team and squad.

This is really a proud for all Indians that Indian cricket team have reached to #1 Ranking in ICC test ranking first time ever. Now series between India and South Africa will decide who’ll remain #1 in test cricket. It will be a tough chance for India to be #1 without Rahul Drawid.
