4 Comments | 489 views Alright, another post for my blogger friends. I am on a limited bandwidth host and not always but most of the time I run out of bandwidth every month. So I decided to slip down my blog loading time and have been working on that very seriously. And that is because of two reasons basically. One, I don’t want my readers to wait for ages to load a particular page. Second, I don’t want to end up paying extra money to my host for extra bandwidth. The motive behind this blog to put across my thoughts, which as per me do not need catchy images. By the way I am very fond of creating images and then adding them to the post. But somehow I now realized that its not good to have a blog/website which takes a lot of time to load. People just close the window if the website takes a fraction of second long. I just don’t want to miss that moment. I want more and more people to come on my blog and keep coming.

7 Comments | 5,900 views Seen that Digg Bar on Digg website. Well I have been trying or rather say thinking of adding a bar of that sort on this Blog. But I have not been able to get what I really need actually. All of these bars give you certain good functionality but they all have their own pros and cons. I am not going to go into too much of depth for each one of them. I will leave that part for you to decide which one to use. For me none of them worked. I think I would have to develop one of my own plugin. I have been thinking of getting rid of these social bookmarking icons for the first and then think about adding some more features of the plug-ins listed below.

Update 2 : Added Hello Bar in the list on 11 May 2011. I removed the images so that you go and check out and each and every plugin and decide what suits best for you
Update 3 : Added Viperbar which lets bloggers have an email subscription form in the bar. It supports feedburner, awber and many more services.
Update 4 : Found another great post and added some more paid and free header footer bar plugins.

There are around thousands of file types available today. But ever thought what would be your life without certain file types? What if those file types were never discovered ? What would we have done in that situation ? Thoughts are really scary believe me. Imagine a pile up CDs lying in your cuboard and out of those CDs only 2-3 tracks are useful. Imagine Bulky Movies on your hard drive. Had DivX not been developed we would be having terrible time with our hard drive space.

- Change the theme. if not millions then thousands of themes are available over the internet for free. Just do it man !

I was not ready to install Windows 7 with a DVD so after searching a bit found out the solution to install Windows 7 from a USB Drive. I had some problems in the start but then AskVG’s trick worked. Anyways, Now I am writing this from my new Windows 7, but wondering what to install in this windows. Coming from Windows Vista’s background, I really don’t have any idea what to install. All I can think of is my list of programs that were installed in Windows Vista.

This Korean super-genius was born in 1962 and might just be the smartest guy alive today (he’s recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as having the highest IQ of anyone on the planet). By the age of four he was already able to chilread in Japanese, Korean, German, and English. At his fifth birthday, he solved complicated differential and integral calculus problems. Later, on Japanese television, he demonstrated his proficiency in Chinese, Spanish, Vietnamese, Tagalog, German, English, Japanese, and Korean. Kim was listed in the Guinness Book of World Records under “Highest IQ”; the book estimated the boy’s score at over 210.
Kim was a guest student of physics at Hanyang University from the age of 3 until he was 6. At the age of 7 he was invited to America by NASA. He finished his university studies, eventually getting a Ph.D. in physics at Colorado State University before he was 15. In 1974, during his university studies, he began his research work at NASA and continued this work until his return to Korea in 1978 where he decided to switch from physics to civil engineering and eventually received a doctorate in that field. Kim was offered the chance to study at the most prestigious universities in Korea, but instead chose to attend a provincial university. As of 2007 he also serves as adjunct faculty at Chungbuk National University.
