Sony Ericsson MW600 Windows 7 Working Drivers

I recently bought Sony Ericsson MW600 Bluetooth earphones. And I was shocked to discover that it didn’t work with my laptop (Thinkpad T410) because neither Microsoft nor Sony Ericsson provide the drivers for Sony Ericsson MW600.

Windows did, however, give me 3 possible action center solutions to choose from. It suggested I needed an updated adapter driver, as well as one for the device. One sent me off to Broadcom, the other to Lenovo. I downloaded the Broadcom driver which looked like it was going to work, but the most I could get out of it was standard hands-free which produced phone quality audio, which sucked.

I uninstall it all and tried the Lenovo driver and voila! Everything working, Media Player track name is displayed on the OLED screen, I can play/pause etc – wonderful. At the time of writing the only thing I have left to test is a simultaneous connection to my phone so I can handle calls while listening to music on my laptop.

Windows 7 Super Fast Forward problem – Now this is making me mad

Its third time in a row that it happened. My desktop has started acting weird again. The same old Fast Forwarding issue. OK, let me explain the problem to you in detail. Actually what happens is as soon as I boot up my PC, Every thing will start working super fast. As if the time is running 50 times faster on Windows. Apart from the boot sequence (that black screen with some scrolling white text on it :P ) everything is blazing fast.

Now I would not have mind the problem, if it was not effecting my Keyboard and mouse movements. 1 keystroke on keyboard will give 50 odd impressions. System Clock will run as if I am watching a movie in fast forward mode. Here is a video for your reference that I captured, after the break.

Windows Can not initialize Disk Error Solution

I am not sure whether it will help you with your problem or not but it did solve my problem. I had an 80GB laptop sata hard drive which I was trying to use on a Windows 7 PC but it kept giving me error “Windows can not initialize the hard drive“. Then after searching here and there I realized that the hard drive had password when it was connected to laptop. I removed the password from BIOS and voila. It worked.

So, all I did was remove the HDD password. If you encounter anything like that just try and remove any password from the HDD and it should work.

Download Netgear WG311v3 Working Drivers for Windows 7 32 and 64 bit

I was in such a mess for the last 2 weeks. I had installed windows again and was not able to get my Wireless Adapter to work. It is Netgear WG311v3. I tried downloading Netgear’s official Windows 7 supporting drivers as well but still no go. Then after searching here and there found a solution. Now the Wifi seems to be working fine on my Windows 7 x32. I am providing the steps for you to install in case you are also wondering like me.

Important Note: I have 4GB RAM installed on my PC. Just found out the reason why it was not working with the official version of drivers is because of high RAM capacity. Anyways, here is the solution in case you also happen to have more then 2GB RAM.

Alright, so after OS X it was Windows 7′s turn to sit on my desktop. I installed it after a lot of fiddling around though. I was not ready to install Windows 7 with a DVD so after searching a bit found out the solution to install Windows 7 from a USB Drive. I had some problems in the start but then AskVG’s trick worked.  Anyways, Now I am writing this from my new Windows 7, but wondering what to install in this windows. Coming from Windows Vista’s background, I really don’t have any idea what to install. All I can think of is my list of programs that were installed in Windows Vista.
