			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I am not sure whether it will help you with your problem or not but it did solve my problem. I had an 80GB laptop sata hard drive which I was trying to use on a Windows 7 PC but it kept giving me error<strong> &#8220;Windows can not initialize the hard drive</strong>&#8220;. Then after searching here and there I realized that the hard drive had password when it was connected to laptop. I removed the password from BIOS and voila. It worked.</p>
<p>So, all I did was remove the HDD password. If you encounter anything like that just try and remove any password from the HDD and it should work.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I was in such a mess for the last 2 weeks. I had installed windows again and was not able to get my Wireless Adapter to work. It is Netgear WG311v3. I tried downloading Netgear&#8217;s official Windows 7 supporting drivers as well but still no go. Then after searching here and there found a solution. Now the Wifi seems to be working fine on my Windows 7 x32. I am providing the steps for you to install in case you are also wondering like me.</p>
<p>Important Note: I have 4GB RAM installed on my PC. Just found out the reason why it was not working with the official version of drivers is because of high RAM capacity. Anyways, here is the solution in case you also happen to have more then 2GB RAM.</p>

<p>First you&#8217;ll need to download and extract the Marvell v1.0.0.53 driver.</p>

<p>Next you&#8217;ll need to manually force Windows to install this driver as it will not do it automatically.</p>
<p>So go <strong>Start -&gt; Control Panel -&gt; Device Manager</strong>. Here you&#8217;ll see a list of all your devices. You should see a little exclamation mark next to your Netgear WG311v3. Right click on this and select &#8220;Update Driver Software&#8230;&#8221;.</p>
<p>Now select &#8220;<em>Browse my computer for driver software</em>&#8220;. Choose &#8220;<em>Let me pick from a list of drivers on my computer</em>&#8220;. Click &#8220;<em>Have Disk&#8230;</em>&#8221; and browse for the file MRVW13B.sys (32-bit) or MRVW13C.sys (64-bit). Unfortunately these drivers are not signed so it will ask you if you really want to install it, so click yes.</p>
<p>Now, since Windows Vista RC1 and on require all drivers to be signed, we need a work around. This is easy, but tedious. What you need to do is&#8230;</p>
<p>When booting your computer, press F8 before Windows loads. Then select Disable Driver Signature Enforcement. Done!</p>
<p>I had been using x32 bit version till date so never really checked the x64 bit version. Below are some updated which will help you getting the drivers work on your system.</p>
<p><strong>Update 1</strong> : You may need to configure Windows to accept unsigned drivers. By default its not suppose to accept the unsigned drivers.</p>
<p><strong>Update 2</strong>: When booting your computer, press <em>F8</em> before Windows loads. Then select Disable Driver Signature Enforcement. Done!</p>
<p><strong>Update 3</strong>: I realized you need to disable Driver Enforcement every time your PC boots up. That was not the idea. So I searched more. and Found various things to try.</p>
<p>I am listing all possible solutions below and also mentioning whether they worked for me or not ? You can try the solutions below because they have worked for other people.</p>
<p>Open a command prompt as an admin and type <strong>bcdedit -set loadoptions DISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS</strong></p>

<p><strong>Update 4</strong>:Found another option which I was going to try. But if both of the above does not work for you you can try use the <a href="http://www.ngohq.com/home.php?page=dseo" target="_blank">tool here</a>.</p>
<p><strong>Note:</strong> Netgear also provides drivers for windows 7 with x32 and x64 bit support. However they have already mentioned the known issues. One of which you are already dealing with that&#8217;s why you are here. Official Drivers can be found <a href="http://kb.netgear.com/app/products/model/a_id/2566" target="_blank">here</a>.</p>
