Nice Views. People here in India will never ever learn to drive safely. they just don't know that they r not risking their own life but others also.kuldeep is albsolutely right. if u can drive in india u can drive anywhere in the world, even in the cage of death(mauth ka kuan). Its hight time to wake up Indians. The no. of accidents is highest in our country. If u have no value for ur own life, atleast just think of those u hit on the roads.

Hi!

This is very nice article. I liked the signal interpretations of India. They are true indeed, for I too follow them very meticulously. Our Government sould take stringent action to curb this. CCTV's could be an effective option, as it is done in the gulf and other countries. You come to know about you fines, when you go to pay your taxes every year to the traffic department. They have all the evidence to show you in the CCTV footage.

I've always been fascinated on some videos of traffic in India. I really don't think I could ever drive there, I would be too stressed. It must feel like some action packed video game when your driving though.

Yes, I guess you are right. Do not Honk is pretty much one thing I missed. Thanks. But I think we really need to focus on following traffic rules as Indians as we really don't have sense of driving in India.

Hi! you run a good blog. You discuss on so many topics which are necessary to pay attention to. For example Tata Sky DTH services, are Muslims really terrorist, Security system at US airport or this post on traffic system in India.

I have two points to say ... Delhi is good at roads and traffic system. Much has been developed there to smooth the traffic system. But look at Kolkata where I stay, it is so disorganised. In Delhi accidents mostly occur due to rash driving, by blue line buses or by some spoiled brats. In Kolkata it is however due to chaos or mismanagement.

Another point you missed out to say ... *Never honk*
If you have been to foreign countries, you must have seen they dont honk. You dont have to go very far but Bangladesh. I was surprised to see in the entire city Dhaka, hardly anyone made any sound. Everything is fast and proper but without honk. Honk tend to cause disturbence not only mentally but it also affects your driving. A good traffic system doesnot need sound feedback. Think about the hospitals, schools, colleges, offices beside the roads and even houses. In foreign roads you can feel the peace of mind while driving. In India whenever you think of the road, you tend to fantasize a noisy environment.

Keep up the good work.
